Are you a technology-oriented person who enjoys a varied job with a lot of customer contact? PetroBio offers you a role as a service engineer/commissioning engineer with a lot of freedom under responsibility where you will develop broadly within advanced burner technology.

As a traveling service engineer, you will work from home, and we prefer that you live somewhere around Gävle, Sundsvall, Uppsala, or in the vicinity of Stockholm.

Today, about 30 people work in the company, of which about one-third are service engineers. Many of the colleagues have worked for a long time in the company and are happy to share their expertise.

Job Responsibilities

As a service engineer with us, you will become part of our skilled service team. Together, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and service of PetroBio's own developed burners and associated combustion equipment. The work is largely practical and independent.

Your travel days on assignments usually range from 1 to 5 days. You will also conduct parts of the service through remote support, but most of your working time will be spent with our customers in the field. Our customers are mainly located in Scandinavia and Europe.

Your Profile

• University degree, preferably as a marine engineer or equivalent education in relevant fields such as electrical engineering, control & regulation, or automation
• Technical interest and experience in technical work within electrical, mechanical, automation, or hydraulics
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Driver's license category B
• Proficient in Word and Excel and accustomed to digital environments
• If you have experience or interest in programming, it is an advantage
