Your new role

We are looking for a driven and experienced Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in the public sector. The assignment is suitable for you who can quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks, want to contribute to development, and have a genuine interest in financial management and business development. You will be a qualified support to both management and department heads, where your analytical skills and good overall perspective will help ensure effective and sustainable financial management. The administration is undergoing a development process where they are transitioning from Excel to working more in Raindance and Qlik Sense, making the role particularly exciting for those who thrive in changing environments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for budget, forecasts, and follow-up.
• Perform financial analyses and prepare decision-making materials.
• Support department heads in financial matters.
• Participate in and drive development work within the financial area.
• Contribute to the implementation and further development of Raindance and Qlik Sense.

To be successful in this role, you need

• A degree in economics or equivalent educational background in finance.
• At least 6 years of experience in qualified controller work, preferably within the municipal sector.
• Good understanding of financial management, budgeting processes, follow-up, and analytical work.
• Very good experience with financial systems, especially Raindance (preferably version 2025VSP4).
• Experience with Qlik Sense and advanced Excel handling.
• Experience in change or development projects within the financial area is an advantage.
• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and contribute to the streamlining of financial processes.
