Boplats Syd AB is a municipal company, wholly owned by the city of Malmö, that works with housing mediation. We mediate first-hand contracts from around ninety private and municipal landlords in several municipalities in Skåne.

We are now looking for a housing mediator for a parental leave substitute from 2026-04-01 to 2026-09-30.

Job Responsibilities

As a housing mediator at Boplats Syd, you are responsible for the entire mediation process, from publishing new rental properties on our website to sending a completed tenant proposal to the landlord. During the process, you guide the housing seekers, check documents, and provide efficient, clear, and responsive service to both housing seekers and landlords. Part of your working time is spent in our customer service where you receive visitors and handle inquiries via email and phone. You may also represent Boplats Syd at fairs and viewings. You work daily in our digital operating system, which supports all contact with both housing seekers and landlords. You always work for the customer's best interest and to highlight improvement potentials to drive Boplats Syd forward.

Qualifications and Experience

To apply for this position, you should have:

• 3-year high school education

• Experience in customer service for at least 2 years

• Experience in administrative work for at least 1 year

• Very good computer skills

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

• Good understanding of English in speech and writing

• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Meritorious but not required:

• Meritorious with language skills in Danish or another language

• Preferably experience from the housing sector or authority

• Ability to interpret accounting

You drive your work forward, are good at planning and prioritizing tasks, and dare to make your own decisions.
