About the Assignment

We are looking for a Technical Information Engineer who wants to work as a technical communicator focusing on writing, editing, and reviewing technical documentation. The role is part of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and you contribute to producing publications that describe the operation and maintenance of products and services.

You will work in an environment where XML is used (among other things in Uptime4) and you will help develop and design interactive and digital publications, as well as printed materials. The work involves many points of contact where you gather information from various stakeholders to ensure accurate and usable documentation.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and review technical information.
Develop and design interactive and digital publications as well as printed materials.
Produce materials that describe the operation and maintenance of products and services.
Collect and quality assure information in dialogue with various stakeholders.
Work with XML-based information structures and tools in the documentation flow.

Requirements

Engineering degree or other technical education.
At least 3 years of experience in the field of technical information.
Excellent Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
Knowledge of XML.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Creo Illustrate.
Advanced level in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

Meritorious

Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and understanding of related analyses and information materials.
Familiarity with S1000D.
Experience working in Uptime4.
