At the Swedish Migration Agency, we are about 6,000 people working on one of the major societal issues of our time, dealing with tasks that affect people's lives and futures. Our job is truly important!

The Swedish Migration Agency aims to enhance its ability to prevent and counteract abuse.

One step in this direction is the establishment of a national control unit.

We are now looking for several analysts for the national control unit. Do you have the personality and professional capacity we are looking for? Then we can offer you a stimulating and varied job.

What does an analyst do?

In the role of analyst, you will continuously analyze processes, follow up on results, and suggest improvements to ensure robust processes where inaccuracies do not occur. You will, together with others and independently, develop risk-based models and selections for investigation/mapping and analysis. The role may also involve leading assignments and meetings within and outside the authority, participating in external and internal networks, being responsible for scope studies, and preparing management for meetings.

You are expected to communicate your results in the form of reports and oral presentations within the unit and the authority, as well as for external parties.

At the national control unit, the Swedish Migration Agency's work against incorrect payments, organized crime, labor market crime, human trafficking, and threats to Sweden's security is coordinated. Through operational analysis, the unit contributes to analyzing existing abuses in the authority's processes, identifying risks and vulnerabilities, and suggesting measures to minimize or eliminate these vulnerabilities. The unit will further develop risk-based models and selections for investigation/mapping and analyze the results for the development of the authority's control work. Within the operational analysis unit, there is currently expertise in analysis, inter-agency cooperation, information gathering and processing, as well as the development of information management systems.

Who are you?

You work well with complex issues, are analytical, and can break down problems into their components. You are meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards, and you place great importance on meeting these. You are confident, stable, and have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with colleagues and external actors. You take initiative, drive work forward, and achieve results. You are responsible and enjoy working in a team, but you also work well independently. We place great value on you being receptive and having a solution-focused approach.

You who are applying have:
