Unit for Digitalization of Public Administration, Department of Public Administration, Ministry of Finance
Do you have experience in digitalization issues and legislative work within the digitalization policy area? Do you also enjoy having many points of contact? Then we can offer you a varied role alongside knowledgeable colleagues in a dynamic environment.
Your workday. Sweden's tomorrow.
We are looking for a qualified lawyer/administrator who will be responsible for issues related to coordination and policy development of the digitalization of public administration. You will prepare decision-making materials for the political leadership and be responsible for negotiation and legislative work. In this role, you will work closely with other units within the Department of Public Administration and are expected to actively contribute to the department's collaboration.
The Unit for Digitalization of Public Administration is part of the Ministry of Finance's Department of Public Administration (OFA), which is responsible for public procurement, state property management, state employer and administrative policy, governance and financing of municipalities and regions, consumer issues, gaming issues, and digitalization policy.
The unit works with the digitalization of society, particularly digitalization within public administration, including digital technologies such as AI. The unit participates in the formulation of the EU's digitalization policy and is responsible for implementing EU legislation on digitalization in Sweden, as well as some other international engagement.
The unit is responsible for the Agency for Digital Administration (Digg).

Your background
We are looking for someone with an academic degree, preferably in law or equivalent. It is advantageous if you have experience working with legislation in the digitalization policy area and experience working in the Government Offices. If you have experience working in politically governed operations and very good knowledge of digitalization policy, it is considered advantageous.
Your qualities
As a person, you have a strong drive. You are responsible and used to working independently while also enjoying close collaboration with others.
