Electrician for Karolinska University Hospital

What will you be working on?
As an electrician, you will work with your colleagues to ensure the daily operations and future development of the properties regarding electrical issues. The client wants our help and expertise, which means great opportunities to work with many varied tasks focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs of property technical installations. Other examples of tasks may include electrical new installations, renovations, and maintenance work, documentation, and participating in quotation and calculation work. As an electrician in this hospital delivery, you will join a team with wonderful colleagues, where together you contribute to a better everyday life for healthcare by ensuring the operation of electrical and lighting systems within the hospital.
Your tasks as an operations technician with a focus on electricity include, among others:
- Rounds, supervision, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems
- Installation of new electrical systems
- Support for conference AV technology
- Corrective maintenance within property technical systems
- Planned maintenance
- Perform both administrative and technical tasks
- Task-based work beyond the contract
- On-call duty for HSP and LSP systems
- Improving and developing our delivery
Who are you?
As a person, you have a careful, methodical, and solution-oriented approach to your work. You are confident in your professional skills, enjoy taking personal responsibility for service delivery, and have the ability to analyze and explain technical relationships. You have a drive to work with technology and are motivated by development and improvement. To thrive in the role, you have good social skills as you will have a lot of contact with both healthcare staff, colleagues, and suppliers, where there are high demands for good social skills and a positive attitude focused on good collaboration.
We see that you have:
- Completed Electrical education (high school education as an electrician and 1,600 hours of practical training or equivalent education and experience that provides at least B certification)
- ECY Certificate
- At least 5 years of recent work experience in the field
- Broad competence in installation
- Experience in troubleshooting and preventive work in electrical installations
- Work with LSP switchgear
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Computer skills
- Driving license B
Preferred experience includes:
- Work with conference technology
- Work with Siemens control systems Desigo
- Work with KNX systems
- Work with Elkoda
- Work with Schneider control systems Vijeo
- Operation of high voltage installations
- Operation/maintenance of backup power systems
- Work in a hospital environment
- HSP training
- ESA Industry
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of German

Additional information and contact details
Employment type: Permanent full-time position (100%) with an initial probationary period of 6 months. The position includes on-call duty where Coor follows the current collective agreement regarding compensation.
Location: Karolinska University Hospital in Solna
Working hours: Daytime, weekdays between 07:00-16:00. On-call duty is included in the position, and evening work may occur.
