Operations Technician Wanted at St1Biokraft in Södertörn

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Operations Technician to join St1Biokraft in Södertörn, contributing to a sustainable future by ensuring efficient and safe operation of the facility.

We are seeking someone who is meticulous, technically inclined, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others but can also work independently when necessary. Experience is a plus, but as long as you are interested and driven, there is potential for development on-site.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various parts of the facility and auxiliary equipment
• Follow established operating routines to achieve safe and economical operations
• Conduct rounds and monitor operations and processes
• Work towards a safe working environment and adhere to local occupational safety regulations
• Conduct leak detection of methane gas as needed and take action at the facility
• Participate in studies, projects, and sub-projects within the facility's operations
• Other tasks as required within the department or company.

Who Are You?

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent experience in operations and maintenance
• Good knowledge of operations monitoring and optimization
• Good knowledge of rounds and maintenance actions within operations and mechanical equipment
• Basic knowledge of maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, instrumentation, and gas purification
• Valid driver's license (B)
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

About the Company

The facility in Södertörn specializes in biogas production and upgrading to biomethane. With a production capacity of 80 GWh per year, the facility produces raw gas from sorted food waste, slaughterhouse by-products, other organic waste, and glycerin. The facility contributes to a more sustainable society by refining organic waste and by-products into renewable energy, creating conditions for a better tomorrow.
