HR Specialist at the National Board of Institutional Care

The National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this in youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. At SiS, your work life becomes an exciting challenge. At our headquarters in Solna Business Park, we are about 350 employees, and together we work to support and develop the authority with approximately 4000 employees.

Job Description

We are now looking for an HR Specialist tasked with supporting the recruitment of new employees and managers to SiS headquarters, as well as to our institutions across the country. SiS is on an exciting development journey where strengthening the authority's competency supply is a crucial part of our work, with recruitment being a key element. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with recruitment and the candidate experience within our authority.

As an HR Specialist in recruitment, you play an important role in supplying the organization with the right competencies for our socially important mission. This means you will work operationally, consultatively, and strategically with recruiting managers and contribute your knowledge throughout all parts of the recruitment process. Communication with candidates will also be an important part of your role. It may also be relevant to strengthen the HR department with questions in other areas of competency supply. The work is largely independent, but you will have good support from your future colleagues in the HR department.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is used to managing multiple processes simultaneously and has good structure. You have a strong interest in and good knowledge of competency-based recruitment. You are also motivated to share your knowledge within the organization. Since a large part of the work involves collaboration with recruiting managers and contact with candidates, it is important that you are service-oriented and relationship-building. You also need to have a good ability to take initiative and work goal-oriented with your assignment. You are a good ambassador for both SiS and a qualitative, competency-based recruitment process.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree, e.g., in behavioral science or human resources, or equivalent relevant knowledge for the job
  • Experience in operational and consultative work with recruitment
  • Experience managing multiple processes simultaneously
  • Experience working with recruitment in the public sector

It is advantageous to have:

  • Experience working in the recruitment system ReachMee

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.
