Shared Services works across the municipality with administration, IT, personnel, organization, and finance. The mission of Shared Services is to be a customer-oriented service center for elected officials and the municipality's operations. The sector shall ensure that applicable laws and regulations are followed, work for uniform routines within the municipality, and be responsible for development within each area of expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a finance assistant, your tasks will include:

• Main responsible for accounts payable
• System administration
• Development for increased user benefit
• Training and informing in the finance area as needed
• Support during year-end closing and monthly reconciliations
• Procurement coordinator and also contact person for the outsourced procurement function.
• Daily contact and support for operations and external stakeholders.

The position is a support function for both Vårgårda and Herrljunga municipalities. However, you will be employed by Vårgårda and will be physically located in Vårgårda Municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is an advantage if you have a finance education at the high school level or as further education. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

In Vårgårda Municipality, full-time is the norm with the possibility of part-time. Since full-time assignments are lacking, this means that positions can be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
