At Swede Ship, we develop, repair, and deliver market-leading boats and vessels to, among others, the Coast Guard, the Swedish Maritime Administration, the Transport Agency, FMV, and private shipping companies. Swede Ship Marine is located in Djupvik, Tjörn, and is the parent company of a shipbuilding group that employs around 90 people. Other companies in the group include Swede Ship Composite in Hunnebostrand and Swede Ship Yachtservice at Nya Varvet in Gothenburg. Since May 2022, Swede Ship has been part of Ö-borgen, a group with many more shipyards across Sweden.

Do you want to contribute to our team as a payroll administrator?

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous payroll administrator at 75% who wants to be part of our operations and contribute to smooth and efficient payroll management. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in a stimulating environment.

About the Role

As a payroll administrator with us, you will have a central role in our organization. You will be responsible for processing and verifying payroll data, preparing payroll lists, as well as reports and statistics. Your tasks will also include compiling time and absence reports and responding to employee inquiries, for example, about salary and vacation leave across all three companies.

The position entails responsibility throughout the entire chain, from preparation and reconciliations to payroll disbursements and subsequent tasks. You will perform calculations and corrections and handle the daily work in payroll and time systems, including registering new employees and administering the time system PICCO. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employment contracts are drafted and signed after the HR manager has completed the hiring and other administrative tasks within the HR area.

About You

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in payroll administration and a desire to learn everything about payroll. You have good knowledge of payroll administration and enjoy working with people, appreciate challenges, and are meticulous, structured, and detail-oriented. Experience with payroll management in systems such as Payroll or Kontek Lön or other payroll systems is advantageous. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
