Description

The Community Planning Department consists of six units: planning and building, environment, construction, nutrition, cleaning, and property.

Together, we work to create a sustainable and well-functioning community. We are now looking for someone who wants to help drive the continued development of the department and contribute to an attractive and sustainable future!

Responsibilities

As a business developer with us, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating quality and development work with a focus on efficient work processes, digitization, and innovation. You will work strategically to drive improvement projects that create real value for both the organization and our residents. The role also includes analyzing and following up statistics and ensuring that modern solutions and technical possibilities are used to achieve our common goals.

You will be responsible for coordinating consultation responses from authorities, answering motions and citizen proposals, and preparing decision-making documents and action plans for political decisions and strategic initiatives. You will lead assignments that cross organizational boundaries and be responsible for developing cross-departmental governing documents and development plans that contribute to future needs.

You will represent the department in municipality-wide working groups and drive strategic issues. You will be part of the department's management team and report directly to the head of the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have several years of experience from a politically governed organization and preferably a background in community planning. Your digital competence is high, and you easily adapt to new systems while being a proficient user of the Office suite.

You are proactive and have a strong ability to lead, drive, and coordinate development and change processes. With a strategic holistic perspective, you see the connections between the organization's needs and the potential of digitization. You thrive with varied tasks and have the ability to structure, prioritize, and deliver results within given timeframes.

You are confident both verbally and in writing in Swedish and adapt your message to the target audience.
