Operations

The Care Administration, with our 2,200 employees, is one of Trollhättan City’s largest administrations. We make a difference for people every day and provide support to the municipality's elderly and individuals with some form of disability. Our goal is to deliver quality services that meet individual needs for support with opportunities for self-determination, participation, and influence over their life situation.

The position is located in the Finance Department, which is a support function for all operations within the Care Administration. Here, we work with and develop areas within municipal finance, local issues, fee processing, and personnel reporting. Our work environment is characterized by trust and freedom under responsibility. The Assignment

This is an exciting role that involves being a strategic support as well as leading, coordinating, following up, and developing the administration's processes regarding local issues.

The starting point for the assignment is to;

  • Call and participate in strategy meetings between the administration management and property owners' management
  • Be a representative for the Care Administration in internal collaboration groups
  • Update the local needs plan annually
  • Conduct an annual local review of existing premises and associated outdoor environments
  • Be the Care Administration's representative during project planning/purchasing, implementation/construction phase (attend relevant operational project meetings, coordinate with the property owner's project manager/project organization, attend planning/construction meetings with contractors, etc.)
  • Assist the operations manager with boundary issues (investment vs. ongoing maintenance) and documentation during the evaluation of completed renovation, extension, and new construction projects

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education. You should have previously worked in a similar role with process management, coordination, and driving your own strategic issues. It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education deemed suitable by the employer, have worked with local issues, and have experience working within a politically governed organization. You should be comfortable working in various IT programs/systems and have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is required.

To succeed in this role, you should be analytical and able to see the big picture. You have the ability to handle multiple parallel processes simultaneously and plan and prioritize your work in a structured manner. Furthermore, you have a curious attitude and are happy to contribute ideas and new approaches to various issues. You can work independently but also enjoy having many points of contact and have a knack for building and maintaining good relationships. We also see that your positive attitude contributes to a good and inclusive environment. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
