At Lärande Primary School, we ensure that every student reaches their academic and personal goals based on their own needs and prerequisites. Using our Learning Model, we create an inspiring learning environment where the whole and the context are connected – just as they are in real life. Here, students meet engaged and present teachers who spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration through meaningful learning.
We are looking for a teacher
As a teacher with us, you work according to a pedagogical model we call the Learning Model. This means we organize teachers into teams that teach students cross-curricularly together within a specific year group. We call this "team teaching." In the role of a modern language teacher, you create the conditions for learning and guide students toward the goals of the operation. You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching independently and in collaboration with team teachers from different year groups. You will participate in development work, team collaboration, and are expected to cooperate with colleagues in various ways.
The cross-curricular work is based on assignments built according to LGR22 (the Swedish Curriculum for Compulsory School), which provides a supportive framework for equity and quality. These assignments, in turn, contain clear elements of cooperative and value-creating learning. In this way, school becomes more meaningful and much more fun.
By working according to the Learning Model across the entire company, Lärande Preschools and Primary Schools, there is an opportunity for collaboration across our school boundaries.
In the role of a German teacher (modern languages), you teach students in smaller groups in grades 6-9. You support students in their development in the new language and help them understand the context by collaborating with other subjects in our integrated subject assignments, to the greatest extent possible.
The position is distributed across our two schools: Lärande Primary School Östra and Lärande Primary School Södra. You will work two days at Södra and three days at Östra, where your employment is also based.
Qualifications
To be considered for the assignment, we require that you have:
- Teaching certification with eligibility in German
- Previous experience in pedagogical work as a teacher and mentor.
Experience with integrated subject teaching is a merit.
We are looking for you who share Lärande's core values: safety, development, team, and success. You have good collaboration skills, are flexible and change-oriented, with a focus on goals and results.
Why choose Lärande?
Our success is built on safety, team spirit, and continuous development. At our company, courage, new ideas, and knowledge sharing are important parts of our culture, and we see differences as a strength. Since our inception, we have walked our own path, and we see learning as the key to meeting a world in constant change. Through close collaborations with business, industries, and other actors, we prepare for tomorrow.
Apply to us and become part of Lärande – where your contribution makes a difference!
