The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, upper secondary school, adapted compulsory and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Vifolkaskolan F-6 is located in the heart of Mantorp with approximately 270 students distributed across 10-11 classes in grades F-6. We have a varied schoolyard with lawns, play equipment, swings, bandy, and football fields. Additionally, the school is situated at the edge of Klämmestorp Forest, which we use for play, lessons, and recreation. Vifolkaskolan F-6 is also close to the Östgötapendeln train line, the library, and several sports halls.

We actively work to develop teaching, safety, attendance, and health for our students and staff. Vifolkaskolan F-6 places great importance on utilizing everyone's competence and has many years of experience in collaboration between different staff groups. At our staff meetings (APT), we work with well-being factors to strengthen the good qualities and cohesion of the staff group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a Receiving Class Teacher (Fritidshem teacher), you will plan, teach, and develop the activities of the receiving class. Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to create a stimulating and educational environment for the students based on the receiving class's mission according to the curriculum Lgr22.

Based on the goals of the activity, the receiving class teacher, in collaboration with other roles, shall create good pedagogical activities aimed at promoting children's learning and development, as well as inspiring children to new discoveries and interests.

The role includes collaborating with the school's other educators during the school day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified Receiving Class Teacher (Fritidshem teacher). You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and can use them effectively in your daily work.

You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a good and calm learning environment for our students throughout their day.

As a person, you are secure, flexible, responsible, and proactive. You maintain calm in stressful situations, take responsibility for your tasks, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Building relationships and collaboration are important parts of the role.
