The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes lifelong learning for all children and students, working towards the goal of "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be". We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Vifolkaskolan F-6 is located in the heart of Mantorp with approximately 270 students distributed across 10-11 classes in grades F-6. We have a varied schoolyard with lawns, play equipment, swings, bandy, and football fields. Additionally, the school is located at the edge of Klämmestorp Forest, which we use for play, lessons, and recreation. Vifolkaskolan F-6 is also close to the Östgöta commuter train, library, and several sports halls. We actively work on developing teaching, safety, attendance, and health for our students and staff.

Vifolkaskolan F-6 places great importance on utilizing everyone's competence and has many years of experience in collaboration between different staff groups. At APT (Annual Performance and Development Review), we work with Health Factors to strengthen the staff group's good qualities and cohesion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You work as a qualified teacher in grades 4-6, responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your teaching. As a teacher in grades 4-6, you have a mentorship responsibility for a class with your work team as support.

You maintain close dialogue with guardians and plan and conduct development conferences.

Together with your colleagues, you take responsibility for developing teaching to reach as accurately as possible and to provide a safe and learning environment for our students.

We are looking for you who want to develop together with us in a positive learning environment and who want to collaborate with your colleagues, including teachers, student health services, and management, to create a safe and secure school.

QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish teaching license and a primary teacher education with a focus on grades 4-6. You are qualified in English and Natural Sciences, and we see an advantage if you also have qualifications in Mathematics and Swedish.

You have the ability to lead and motivate others, as well as set goals and direction for your teaching and our school development. You have the ability to seek support and help from your colleagues and to support them when needed.

You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions.

You have the ability to speak clearly and exude credibility and self-confidence. You have the ability to lead teaching, presentations, and be active in discussions in work teams and during analyses of teaching and results.
