Location: Gothenburg and Borås

A job that actually means something
There are jobs that are just a job – and then there are jobs that make a difference. Jobs where you feel that what you do matters, for people and for society. Being a parking enforcement officer is such a job, and this role is important.
At P-tjänst AB, we are looking for you who seek more than just a place to clock in and out. We are looking for you who want the freedom to make your own decisions, but who also understand the importance of taking responsibility.
Who are you?
We believe you are someone who appreciates clarity and structure, but also enjoys variety. You might be someone who wants to see the results of your work – someone who finds it satisfying to end the day knowing you have contributed to creating order.
To thrive with us:
You like working independently, but at the same time have a team spirit and want to work for the team's benefit, even if the job often means working alone in the field.
You are the type who keeps their word and takes responsibility – not just for yourself, but also for your actions.
You have good communication skills and enjoy meeting people, even when they are stressed or having a bad day, and can handle situations with calm and respect.
You are solution-oriented and find it easy to adapt when situations require flexibility.
You enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, as the job requires it.
What does a day look like?
As a parking enforcement officer, you are much more than a uniform. You are a creator of security, a problem solver, and sometimes the one who de-escalates an irritated motorist's day with a smile.
Your tasks will include:
- Parking supervision – ensuring rules are followed and order is maintained.
- Contact with clients/employers.
- General service to motorists who need your help.
You are car-borne, but the job also involves some walking.
You work with varying hours, including days, evenings, and nights. No day is the same as the other.
What we are looking for in you:
Requirements:
- You have a valid driver's license (Category B).
- You are available to work all shifts throughout the day and night.
- You speak and write Swedish fluently, and have good knowledge of English.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent – a solid foundation to build upon.
- You have your finances in order and a clean criminal record.
- You have previous experience in jobs where you have met and handled people in various situations. The important thing is that you are confident in dealing with both customers and motorists.
- You have good availability, e.g., through part-time work, part-time studies, or studies with flexibility.
- You are resident in Gothenburg/Borås or the surrounding area and can start with short notice.
We also place great emphasis on personal suitability – the right person for the role.
Plus points:
- Experience as a parking enforcement officer or from the security industry.
- Technical knowledge or computer literacy.
- Knowledge of additional languages – diversity is an asset.
- If you live between Gothenburg and Borås and have the possibility to work in both areas.
Why work with us?
We are a family-owned company with a down-to-earth culture where freedom and responsibility are the foundation of everything we do. Here, your ideas are valuable, and you are part of something bigger – creating security and well-being for others.
What we offer:
- Freedom with responsibility: Flexible working hours and the opportunity to influence.
- Security and development: We follow the collective agreement, and there are opportunities to grow within the company.
- A family-oriented workplace: We are a down-to-earth family business that believes in respect, cooperation, and structure, where everyone is equal and can make a difference.
- Wellness allowance: We care about your health and believe it is important to contribute to it through physical exercise and recovery.
- A great team: We prioritize the team over the individual, and everyone contributes something.
Application deadline: 2026-08-21. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis – so don't wait too long. We look forward to hearing from you!
The position requires that you have the right to work in Sweden. Prior to employment, we conduct a standard check of this for all candidates (e.g., passport, EEA ID card, or residence and work permit).
Please note that the recruitment process for this position is slightly longer than usual due to the holiday season.
