Why work at SafeTeam?
We at SafeTeam are convinced that we can do fantastic things together when we thrive and feel good at our workplace. Therefore, we consciously work to create a work environment and culture that provides high satisfaction for all employees. We live our values: Fair, Service-focused, and Safe.
SafeTeam is large enough to offer development opportunities, stability, collective agreements, and favorable terms – but at the same time small enough for a very special and family-like atmosphere. We work with a broad product range, from access systems, locks, and alarms to video surveillance, automatic doors, burglary protection, and fire protection. Here you will be in good company; we are approximately 200 wonderful colleagues in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Linköping, Mölndal, Trollhättan, and Stenungsund.
What does the job entail?
As a Fire Alarm Project Engineer at SafeTeam, you will become the hub for our fire alarm system projects. From the first day of the project, you not only lead but also take responsibility for carefully planning and coordinating the project's execution.
Your role involves designing security solutions within fire safety in close collaboration with our customers. As a project engineer, you play a key role already in the early stages of the sales process. Your area of responsibility includes calculation, development of system solutions, preparation of quotations, and project execution.
You are also the technical expert who supports the rest of the team. This may involve reviewing priorities, discussing technical solutions, and offering support in technical matters. By being the cohesive force in the project, you ensure that the whole works.
Where?
In bright and fresh premises at Hildedalsgatan 9 on Hisingen, you will find our alarm department. Here you will be accompanied by nearly 40 wonderful colleagues: technicians, project engineers, foremen, coordinators, department managers, and regional managers. We invest heavily in training and development and are good at seeing potential in our employees and developing it. Are you a person who contributes to our fine team spirit and positive atmosphere? Then you will thrive with us!
What can you do?
To qualify for this position, we want you to have:
- Experience in designing security/fire alarm systems
- The ability to provide high service – "that little extra" – to both customers and colleagues. Superior service is indeed the core of our corporate culture.
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
We are looking for you who enjoy taking responsibility and leading projects in close collaboration with customers. You have extensive product knowledge and good computer skills. Being a Certified Fire Alarm Engineer is an asset, but not a requirement.
Since you will be working on several projects continuously, you need to be able to prioritize your work, which requires you to be structured and goal-oriented. We also value the ability to be flexible and communicative in collaboration with customers and colleagues.
You thrive in customer dialogues. And you like to build trust by proactively suggesting solutions where you see that it can help the customer, in both existing and new customer relationships.
Do we fit together?
We place great emphasis on who you are as a person. We want you to fit into our team, thrive and stay for a long time! If you work with us, we will do everything we can to make that happen. We hope for the same honest commitment from you.
We have formulated it like this:
SafeTeam's Employee Promise You get to work in a professional and family-oriented company where we care for each other and our customers. Here there is a genuine desire to always do your best. We do it together; employees and managers have close collaboration with us. It is important that you take responsibility and are unpretentious to thrive, in exchange you get opportunities to develop , a really wonderful community, and a life characterized by openness and helpfulness.
