The Local Group within the City of Gothenburg consists of the companies Higab, Gothenburg City Parking, and Älvstranden Utveckling. Together, we bring together key competencies in urban development – we manage many of the buildings that characterize Gothenburg, develop quarter land, cultural environments, and new urban environments, and work on future parking solutions.

We are now looking for you who want to strengthen the group's preparedness and security work – a person who thrives in an advisory and operational role and is eager to share their knowledge with others.

About the role

As a Security Coordinator, you will have a central and varied role where you work both operationally and tactically. You will become an important part of developing the group's security work and supporting the line organization in all three companies with investigations, analyses, and training initiatives.

The position is organizationally placed at Higab, directly under the Group Security Manager, but you will collaborate closely with all security functions within the group. You will divide your working time between Älvstranden Utveckling's office on Lindholmen and the premises of Higab and Gothenburg City Parking in Gårda.

Examples of tasks:

• Coordinate and conduct investigations, such as supplier controls, controls during divestment, handling of unscrupulous actors, and cyber incidents.
• Ensure that preparedness perspectives are included in contracts and procurement.
• Support the companies' security functions in planning and implementing operational measures, primarily within civil defense.
• Contribute to the development of processes and routines within the security area.
• Ensure that legal requirements and the City of Gothenburg's requirements are met.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and analyses related to, for example, crime, influence attempts, warfare, digital development, and new regulations.
• Document, analyze, and report data within the area.

We are looking for

We are looking for you with a relevant university education and extensive experience in investigative work as well as work with issues within the security and/or preparedness area. Knowledge of NIS2, GDPR, security protection legislation, the Public Procurement Act (LOU), as well as the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act is desirable.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a Security Coordinator with us, you are responsive, pedagogical, and collaborative – you have an easy time building trust and enjoy supporting others in their development. You work with good judgment and have an approach based on the City of Gothenburg's fundamental principles of democracy, rule of law, and human rights. You keep yourself continuously updated within the security and preparedness area.

The work varies between the companies, so you need to be curious, solution-oriented, and structured.
