About the Role
As a Fire Engineer, your tasks and projects may vary depending on your experience, interests, and the types of challenges you wish to take on. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects within industry, infrastructure, and public buildings. You may be tasked with driving assignments, ensuring delivery to the customer, and maintaining the budget – always with support from your team. The role offers career opportunities for those who want to take responsibility for larger projects and build specialist competence in fire safety and risk, while working closely with colleagues and other disciplines.

Examples of tasks:

• Drive projects and be responsible for delivery, budget, and customer contact
• Represent the company and move the project forward
• Conduct risk assessments and design work, both within fire and risk
• Ensure that projects comply with laws, standards, and internal guidelines
• Lead or collaborate with groups of designers on larger projects
• Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with fire protection issues, for example as a Fire Engineer, Fire Consultant, Project Manager, or in a similar role. The experience can be from consultancy, rescue services, or authorities
• Post-secondary education as a Fire Engineer from a university or college
• Swedish & English, fluent in speech & writing
• Category B driver's license

Our client is a leading player in fire protection and security with operations throughout Sweden, serving both private and public customers. Here you will have the opportunity to develop within a company that values sustainability, innovation, and strong collaboration. In Gothenburg, the team consists of approximately 10 Fire Engineers, but you will also become part of a larger network with colleagues working with various types of risk. The role gives you the opportunity to broaden your competence – you can specialize in fire or combine it with risk work, all in close collaboration with other disciplines.
