About the job as Fire Alarm Service Technician

Are you a curious technician who wants to develop your interest in customized security solutions? Then you might be the one we are looking for. As a service technician, you are part of a team consisting of supervisors and service technicians. Together, you work with the installation and service of fire alarm systems. You are responsible for varied maintenance and service work and maintain contact with customers. As an ambassador for Avarn Security, you perform every assignment with professional pride and high demands on quality and safety. Some on-call/shift work may be included in the position.

Workplace: Gothenburg

Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:30–16:30

Duration: Full-time, a 6-month probation period may apply.

Start date: As soon as possible, by agreement.

The role requires that you:

• Have good experience within the security industry and are able to perform work completely on your own.
• Have broad product knowledge and worked for at least two years as a security technician, or alternatively installer or commissioning engineer within fire alarm systems.
• Are a team player who is careful, quality-conscious, and can work independently.
• Are service-oriented, solution-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Have the desire to actively participate in improvement work for continuous quality development.
• Have a B driver's license.
• Have Swedish citizenship.

It is highly meritorious if you are also a certified engineer in Fire Alarms.

The Recruitment Process

To be employed within Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies. The application to the County Administrative Board is handled by Avarn Security. Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. This assessment covers law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities.
