We are currently looking for an assistant for our client, a man in his 50s who loves cats and dogs. There are also animals at the workplace.

The daily work consists of helping with tasks the client cannot do alone, such as transfers, cleaning, cooking, and hygiene. Since our client lives in the countryside, applicants should have a driver's license and access to a car. The position involves one 24-hour shift per week, but working hours can be expanded in case of planned double assistance, specific needs, or when the regular assistant is on sick leave or vacation. You should not be afraid of or allergic to dogs or cats, as animals live in the client's home.

The Assistant's Role and Experience

We are looking for a person with experience in care, transfers, and preferably cooking skills. Being social, empathetic, resilient, and having a positive attitude are great advantages. You must be able to speak and understand Swedish well, so that both you and the client can communicate effectively.

You will receive individualized introduction and training regarding all aspects of the client's support needs and routines.

Desirable Experience

• Category B driver's license and access to a car.
• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals.
• Experience as a personal assistant.
• Nursing assistant (Undersköterska).
• Care experience.
• Swedish language skills (written and spoken).

Working Hours/Employment Level

• Fixed-term employment, part-time 17.5 hours/week.
• 24-hour shifts with on-call duties.
• Opportunity for extra working hours during staff absence and planned double assistance.
