Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant requires a good ability to build safe relationships, as the work involves providing support in daily life with all that entails. Our client is a young woman who enjoys various activities, such as a day trip to Liseberg or a stay by the sea. Therefore, we are looking for you who thrive with active assistance, both indoors and outdoors, and who are creative in finding adapted activities. In the work, it is of great importance that you are attentive and responsive to the signals our client gives you.

We are now looking for you who fit the following:

• want to work for a teenage girl living in Skärhamn

• have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• have a B driver's license and access to a car to get to and from work. If you live near Skärhamn, this is not a requirement

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience working in healthcare and social care

• have experience working with children and young people

• have experience with mobility-impaired disabilities

• have experience with epilepsy

• have experience with alternative communication

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment and salary:

2 positions. The current form of employment is "Summer Temporary" from now until week 33 with an employment degree of approx. 58%. Working hours vary between 07:00-17:00, 09:00-21:00 and 21:00-07:00 (active/awake night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a register extract from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register prior to any employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
