About the job
We are now looking for a colleague for our work group and welcome you to apply to the investigation group VINR/HRV (Violence in Intimate Relationships and Honor-Related Violence).
As a social secretary with us, you have the tasks that are included within the exercise of authority, that is, to receive, investigate and assess applications for protection needs, as well as make decisions, implement and follow up on measures according to assignments, work plans and implementation plans. We use evidence-based methods as support in our assessments, for example FREDA and PATRIARK.
The work also includes informing, motivating and strengthening the individual to take their own initiatives in the change towards an independent life. We work to clarify the processes in the investigation work to clarify and work on areas for improvement and to follow up how the individual experiences our measures. An important part of the work is collaboration with different authority units and providers. We have a particularly close cooperation with Children and Young People. The handling is carried out in accordance with the Social Services Act and other legislation governing public work. We apply national regulations, guidelines, routines and the city's common goals and action plans. Process guidance is included.
The work group VINR/HRV consists of seven social secretaries and one senior social secretary, and is one of three work groups within the unit Adult 2. We also work with supported housing and eviction prevention work, a total of 22 employees, of which three senior social secretaries and one unit manager. The workplace is characterized by a good working climate and helpfulness towards each other, and has a very low staff turnover. The unit also has an active and creative well-being group. We offer flexible hours. Based on the needs of the operations, there is also the possibility of working from home. Our office is located in Hjällbo.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work. You are familiar with the legislation and guidelines that govern the operations. You realize the importance of a legally secure handling and understand what it means in practice. You have experience of exercising authority from social services and it is meritorious if you have worked within the exercise of authority directed towards people with protection needs. It is meritorious with knowledge and application of assessment methods such as FREDA and PATRIARK. It is also meritorious if you have worked in the documentation system Treserva and have a driver's license.
As a person, you have a very good ability to collaborate and cooperate with others, as it is significant for the individual to get the right support for the right measures at the right time. You are flexible in your thinking and action and you have an easy time adapting yourself and your way of working based on changed conditions and new information. You take responsibility for both your own and the unit's joint work and are keen that the work is completed and carried out in the right way.
