Unika LSS has had the opportunity to run two newly built facilities in Trollhättan, starting this autumn. The facilities are a group home and a service apartment. We are therefore looking for support educators for both facilities. The facilities are located on Spetsgatan and Granbarrsvägen.
About the role of Support EducatorIn the role of support educator, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both at home and in leisure activities. You should contribute to giving the resident the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to address each person's individual needs and conduct educational work based on this. As the needs vary among users, no two days are alike, contributing to a challenging and exciting job.
You will work close to the users together with your colleagues and have a great responsibility to, in consultation with the operations manager, drive and develop the educational work at the facility. Some delegated health and care tasks are included in the work.
QualificationsYou are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good cooperation skills and relate to others in a listening manner, and you enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs.

Requirements:
- Degree from the support educator program 200 YH credits or 60 HP in pedagogy.
- Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults person category 1.
- Basic knowledge of household work such as nutrition and hygiene.
- Computer literacy and good knowledge of the Swedish language, in speech and writing.
Meritorious if you additionally have:
- Experience of leadership.
- Experience of working with people with autism and challenging behavior.
- Experience of working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral problems.
- Experience of clarifying communication and low-affective handling.

Terms of EmploymentEmployment type: Permanent employment, with a 6-month probation period.
Work hours: Varying.
Working time: Day, evening, and weekend at the group home. Day, evening, sleeping on-call, and weekend at the service apartment.
Start date: By agreement, planned start is 2026-10-01.
Collective agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement of Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
