We are currently looking for an Ophthalmologist for a well-functioning and development-oriented clinic in southwestern Sweden. About the clinic:
The clinic offers modern eye care for patients of all ages. You will work in a competent and engaged team with access to up-to-date diagnostic and treatment equipment. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within ophthalmology, while also having room to deepen your expertise in specific areas.
Areas of clinical activity:
- General Ophthalmology
- Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Treatment and follow-up of diabetic retinopathy
- Glaucoma follow-up and chronic eye care
- Neurological and inflammatory eye diseases
- Cataract assessments and opportunities for cataract surgery for those with the right competencies
The clinic is characterized by a good working atmosphere, stable staffing, and structured collaboration between doctors, opticians, nurses, and assistant nurses.
Your role:
As a specialist doctor in eye diseases, you will be responsible for:
- Assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various types of eye diseases
- Actively contributing to teamwork and collaboration with other professional groups
- Mentoring residents (ST-doctors)
- Participating in the development of the clinic's working methods and medical processes
Requirements:
- Swedish specialist certificate in ophthalmology
- At least two years of experience as a specialist
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
