At the Authority, caseworkers work within the Social Services Act (SoL), the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), and social psychiatry, along with a planning team tasked with planning for patient discharges from healthcare. Roles such as next of kin strategist, next of kin consultant, social responsibility coordinator, suicide prevention coordinator, housing coordinator, administrator, and project manager for SoL are also based at the Authority.

Work at the Authority involves investigation, assessment of needs for entitlement to support, and decision-making according to the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Casework under the Social Services Act (SoL) also occurs. Caseworkers make decisions delegated by the Care Committee.

What we offer you!

The role of the Psychiatric Coordinator includes the following assignments:

• Coordinator to develop collaboration between different principal authorities, such as the municipality, region, and primary care.
• Mentor and educate employees in meeting individuals with comorbidity and mental illness from a person-centered and salutogenic approach.
• Drive development issues within the subject area.
• The position is located in the Authority business area and reports directly to the Business Manager, but entails a cross-administrative assignment.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education as well as further education in psychiatry. You have experience in municipal healthcare or outpatient psychiatry, as well as experience in mentoring. You should be confident in educating or giving lectures to a work group. You have good social competence, the ability to create good relationships both internally and externally, and hold a B driving license.

It is meritorious if you have nursing education and previous documented experience in Life Care, but it is not a requirement.

You should not be unfamiliar with being able to step into regular nursing work during vacation periods or other critical periods that may arise in our operations.

You have an interest in learning new things and the ability to share and teach others. You are solution-focused, see opportunities, are flexible, and feel responsibility and loyalty. You are calm, stress-resistant, have strong collaboration skills, social competence, and the ability to work independently. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is important. You are computer literate as all documentation takes place in the business system Procapita.
