Make a difference. Every day.
Are you curious about working in a specialist psychiatric operation where clinical competence and involvement are high? We are now welcoming a nurse to our Addiction Clinic!
The clinic's main task is to offer psychiatric healthcare interventions for individuals with addiction issues of such severity that specialist assessment and specialist healthcare are required. We work with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, counselors, psychologists, and the unit manager. As an employee here, you are offered continuous training, supervision, and operational information that is vital for maintaining quality and development in the process.
The Adult Psychiatry area in Kristianstad has approximately 400 employees. Despite covering a large geographical area, it is characterized by closeness and short decision-making paths. Collaboration and cooperation internally within the area, as well as externally with other healthcare partners, municipalities, and user organizations, are well-functioning and prioritized.
Lovisa, a nurse at the Addiction Clinic, shares:
We are a good group of people working here, a safe and stable team with great cohesion. In my work with the patients, I feel that I can make a difference in someone's daily life. Here, you have the opportunity to get to know the patients; there is truly time to learn about them, which I see as a positive thing. The patient group is fun and educational, but also challenging at times.
1 position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse here, you use your medical competence to help our patients on their path to a drug-free life. You map out and investigate their need for support and treatment. Your responsibilities include following up on and evaluating medication treatments, conducting drug screenings, and holding treatment conversations. You are also part of the care planning, collaborating with various actors within psychiatric and somatic care. We view collaboration with relatives, social services, prison services, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and the Public Employment Service as an important part of meeting the patients' needs. Additionally, you work with outpatient abstinence treatment. There is also outward-facing and consultative work directed towards our healthcare partners. You document your work in Melior.
We offer you stimulating and meaningful work with individual responsibility, where collegial collaboration is a central part of the job. You will receive ongoing training within addiction care and psychiatry. Addiction care is constantly evolving, but especially now in the spirit of the Comorbidity Investigation, where collaboration is put in focus for our target group. There are great opportunities for you to influence and develop, both yourself and the operation. Here, you get the chance to work in a competent team with long experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We view specialist training in psychiatry, basic training in psychotherapy/CBT step 1, relapse prevention, and/or motivational interviewing as meritorious. If you have good prior knowledge of Melior and MS Office, it is advantageous. Since travel occurs in the role, a valid B-driver's license is desirable. It is highly meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of addiction care as well as an interest in working with our target group.
You who apply are driven, engaged, and have good organizational skills. We assume that you are positive and have a good service attitude towards both patients and employees. You should also find it easy to collaborate both internally and externally. Our values permeate everything we do, and it is important that you can apply them in your daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
As part of the suitability assessment, before a decision to offer employment is made, a check of the record of convictions may be conducted.
