Department of Gynecological Surgery (OKK) is a highly specialized surgical unit where operations are performed around the clock. We provide anesthesia and surgical services to the Women's Health care area (VO), as well as to General Surgery. We perform both elective and emergency surgery. Adjacent to the unit is a well-functioning pre- and post-operative ward. At OKK, we have approximately 60 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Nurse to join our wonderful team!

At OKK, you will work in a dynamic unit with a strong focus on development, where we value work characterized by personal responsibility, participation, engagement, and collaboration between professional categories and with your direct manager.

We collaborate with Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pelvic Floor, Laparoscopic/Abdominal Wall surgery, and General Surgery. Gynecology Malmö is a center for endometriosis, which means we perform many laparoscopies.

We offer you a positive and open work climate with the opportunity to develop the unit. Continuous competence development for our staff takes place regularly. When you start with us, you will receive an individual introduction program tailored to your competence and previous experience. We use Timecare as our scheduling system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have further education in perioperative nursing. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement.

We are looking for you who are engaged, responsive, and flexible. You are responsible, service-oriented, and have an interest in working in a dynamic and strongly developing environment. You have the ability to make both major and minor decisions. Furthermore, you contribute to a good atmosphere in the team through your communication skills, and your way of collaborating with colleagues and the surrounding environment is done in a non-hierarchical manner.
