The Business Area (VO) Acute Care Close to Care within the Department of Close to Care and Health consists of emergency departments that do not operate 24/7, as well as evening and weekend clinics (EWC) within Region Skåne.

Business Area (VO) Acute Care, Area 2 Close to Care, includes among other things the weekend clinic and the emergency department in Trelleborg.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a new nurse to our team.

You will combine your role between the Weekend Clinic and the Emergency Department in Trelleborg. The distribution for the position is approximately 30 percent at the Weekend Clinic and the remaining 70 percent at the Emergency Department.

Your responsibilities at the Weekend Clinic include telephone advice, triage, sample collection, and assistance at the doctor's clinic. You will also be involved in improvement and development work. This is to ensure that we can offer our patients high medical quality and a good working environment for our staff.

In the role of a nurse at the Emergency Department, you are an important part of the team surrounding the patient. You work with assessment, prioritization, treatment, and nursing in an environment where no day is like the other. At the same time, you are given the opportunity to engage in improvement projects and help develop both care and our working environment.

In this position, you are offered the opportunity to gain good insight into both of our operations, and to develop skills in both acute care and triaging patients to the correct healthcare facility.

You will work according to a schedule with varying working hours, including day shifts, evening shifts, and two weekends out of five.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. It is meritorious if you are educated as a district nurse. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 on the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have work experience within primary care and/or emergency healthcare. We also see knowledge of PMO (Patient Management System) as an advantage.

This includes, among other things, mobile teams and specialized palliative care, reception activities within close to care, acute care within close to care, 1177 by phone, as well as some region-wide functions. Additionally, the department is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close to care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is estimated to be around 1,000.
