The Adult Psychiatry Clinic on Fosievägen is located in central Malmö and is tasked with investigating, diagnosing, assessing, and treating patients with general psychiatric diagnoses. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments including assessments, pharmacological treatment, support counseling, and psychotherapy with psychodynamic, cognitive, or behavioral focus. Additionally, group therapies with various focuses are offered.

Currently, approximately 45 employees work at the clinic, and the catchment area covers about one-third of Malmö's population. The operations are characterized by high competence, specialization, and a strong commitment to both patients and operational development.

The team consists of several professional categories, including medical secretaries, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists. The clinic also includes an eating disorders unit with particularly high expertise in its field.

The work is characterized by a strong sense of teamwork and a shared focus on the organization's goals. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now welcoming a physiotherapist to the Adult Psychiatry Clinic on Fosievägen in Malmö.

In this role, you will work with physiotherapeutic assessments, both as a basis for the team's collective assessments and as a foundation for continued treatment. The treatment work may, for example, consist of basic body awareness and other physiotherapeutic interventions. The work is primarily conducted through individual contacts but also includes group therapy and, when necessary, close collaboration with other professional categories.

Here, you will have the opportunity to, together with the team, develop both assessment and treatment interventions based on the organization's needs, both individually and in groups. You will become part of a clinic where employees thrive, feel involved, and are proud of their work. Currently, the organization is undergoing a change process where the clinic is being divided into two units, with the goal of creating a more overview-friendly and sustainable way of working. You will be involved in this development work while working towards the entire clinic.

There are a total of four physiotherapists in the area, which provides good opportunities for collegial collaboration. Together, you form a network where experience sharing and support are a natural part of the work, and supervision is offered continuously.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have good language skills in Swedish, corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

It is meritorious if you have experience working in psychiatry, as well as education in basic body awareness or other equivalent body-therapeutic treatment forms. If you also have therapeutic competence in Basic Body Awareness, corresponding to at least level C, this is seen as a particular advantage. We also view positively an interest in the significance of lifestyle habits for health, and that you have the ability to motivate and inspire patients to physical activity based on their individual prerequisites. Furthermore, we value personal qualities such as flexibility, commitment, and good collaboration skills. You have a professional and ethical approach in meetings with both patients and colleagues, and contribute to an open and permissive work climate. Furthermore, you have knowledge of and interest in cultural diversity and understanding of how mental illness can take different forms.

The work requires that you can work independently while thriving in teamwork. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
