Within the Area of Activity (VO) Acute and Medicine, approximately 270 employees work within cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, endoscopy, internal medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, and acute medicine. The VO includes a comprehensive specialist clinic, an emergency clinic, and three inpatient wards. The hospital also has VO clinics and rehabilitation as well as VO scheduled surgeries.

DUTIES

In the role of Specialist/Senior Consultant in Rheumatology, you will primarily work at the rheumatology clinic, where you are responsible for the investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients. If you are a double specialist in Internal Medicine, in addition to outpatient activities, there may be duties within inpatient care, for example through ward work and participation in on-call services.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have specialist competence in rheumatology. It is an advantage if you are a double specialist in internal medicine. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

As a person, you have a professional attitude and work in a solution-focused manner. We see that you have good communicative and empathetic skills, as a good attitude towards patients and colleagues is important to us. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
