We are looking for you who are an experienced nurse, preferably with specialist training, who wants to work close to the patients and contribute your skills to the municipal health and care services.

Celsiusgatan is a care and support residence near Värnhemstorget in Malmö for people with dementia and physical care needs. The residence has four floors and offers a pleasant outdoor environment with a shared terrace and balconies for the residents.

At Celsiusgatan, two dedicated nurses currently work in close collaboration with other professions. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to become part of our team and help develop person-centered care together with us.

As a new nurse with us, you will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your needs and an experienced nurse colleague who will act as a mentor throughout your first year. Working hours are during the day from 07:00–15:30, with weekend duty every sixth weekend.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for the care of the patients. This means that you independently assess, plan, and organize medical and nursing interventions. You are responsible for supervising, educating, and delegating nursing staff. You work in a person-centered manner, involving the patient in decisions, and collaborate closely with relatives and the team around the patient. You regularly collaborate with primary care through rounds from a patient-focused perspective. You will also collaborate with several actors according to the health and care agreement, where the county, municipality, and primary care are included to meet the individual's care needs. In our special residences, we work with quality assurance systems such as BPSD, Senior Alert, and the Palliative Registry.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with at least two years of professional experience. In addition, you have:

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good digital competence and experience with documentation
  • Insight into current legislation and the ability to work based on established goals and guidelines
  • Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you have

  • Work experience working with elderly people with multiple illnesses and/or people with dementia
  • Work experience from municipal health and care services
  • Specialist training in a relevant area, such as elderly care, medical care, or as a district nurse
  • Good experience collaborating with other actors, authorities, and participating in various networks
  • Experience with documentation in Procapita as well as in quality assurance systems such as BPSD, Senior Alert, and the Palliative Registry

To thrive in the role of a nurse, you need to feel secure in your professional role and have the ability to work independently, while also appreciating collaboration and teamwork. You are accustomed to supervising and supporting others in daily work. You have a solution-focused and structured approach, are flexible, and can quickly adapt to new operations and situations. You are proactive, can prioritize among your tasks, and actively contribute to the development of the operations.
