About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups). As a personal assistant, your main task will be to help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 48-year-old man living in Hisingsbacka. He has cerebral palsy and needs help with everything that arises in his daily life. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Patience, calmness, and understanding for different daily conditions and situations

• Experience in similar work

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability, and the customer welcomes male assistants.

Working hours, extent of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is a "Summer Temporary Position" for weeks 29-35 with an extent of approximately 70-75%. In addition to the scheduled working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra if needed. Working hours are 18:00-10:00, with 6 hours of on-call duty at night. 24-hour shifts may also occur, during which you work from 10:00 to 10:00. After the temporary position ends, there is an opportunity to be offered a smaller permanent position.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensations are paid according to collective agreements.
