HR Specialist with Focus on Employment Law and Rehabilitation
Vimmerby is the small municipality in Småland that has much to offer; in addition to the rich cultural heritage of Astrid Lindgren, the municipality is also characterized by a diverse business life, strong local commitment, active club life, beautiful nature, and a peaceful environment.

The HR department is a strategic partner and support to the organization. We work consultatively within HR's main processes, including recruitment, rehabilitation, wage formation, gender equality, working environment, and employment law. We are located in the administration of the Municipal Executive Board and sit centrally in the City Hall, but operate across the organization's four administrations.
Our focus areas are strategic competence supply, sustainable employee engagement, a promoting working environment, as well as courageous and secure leaders. In recent years, we have taken major steps in our work with health-promoting factors. A resource team consisting of HR, managers, and chief safety representatives drives development towards workplaces where employees feel good, develop, and feel pride.
You will be part of our HR team consisting of two HR consultants, an HR administrator, an HR strategist, and an HR specialist with a focus on working environment. Our colleagues within the payroll function also work at the HR department. Together, we have broad HR competence and contribute different perspectives in both operational and strategic HR work. Together with the HR consultants, you are responsible for coaching and supporting the municipality's managers.
We are looking for a secure, relationship-building, and solution-oriented HR specialist. With us, you become part of an engaged HR department that creates value for the municipality's approx. 1,600 employees and 80 managers, based on the municipality's vision, values, and goals.

Job Description
With us, you will have a broad role where you work both strategically and operationally within HR. The focus is on employment law, where you will become a qualified support to managers in matters concerning legislation, collective agreements, negotiations, and handling of complex personnel cases. You are a qualified support to managers and coach them in complex matters that require good judgment and clear communication.
The role also involves working with rehabilitation and coordinating rehabilitation efforts, following up on processes, and contributing to sustainable solutions. You support managers in recruitment and contribute to the long-term work with working environment and competence supply. You plan and conduct training for the organization's managers.
You drive improvement work by developing routines, working methods, and processes that strengthen the HR function and create a more efficient and professional organization. You work both independently and together with colleagues, take own initiatives, and contribute your expert knowledge to the development of the business.
Qualifications
To succeed in the role, you have:
- A university degree in Human Resources/personnel science or another equivalent education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
- Experience in qualified HR work for 5-8 years, where you have worked with issues concerning working environment, rehabilitation, recruitment, and employment law.
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Category B driver's license.
