About Calmunger & Carlsson

We are a well-respected accounting firm located in central Västervik, with approximately 10 employees and a strong local presence. We foster close collaboration, short decision-making paths, and genuine engagement with our clients. Several of our employees are also co-owners, which contributes to a long-term perspective and a culture where responsibility, quality, and development are at the forefront. We are now looking for an accounting consultant who wants to play a key role in our continued growth.

About the Role

As an accounting consultant at our firm, you will work independently on your own client assignments while contributing to the firm's development and quality assurance. The role is broad and varied, making it ideal for someone who appreciates both operational work and the opportunity to influence the business.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ongoing accounting for sole proprietors and limited liability companies
• Year-end closing, annual reports, and tax declarations
• Advisory services within accounting and taxation
• Auditing and quality assurance of assignments
• Preparing quotes for new clients
• Contributing to the development of routines, working methods, and business strategies

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with several years of experience working at an accounting firm and who is accustomed to working independently on client assignments. You feel confident in your profession and enjoy combining meticulous work with close, trust-based client dialogue.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

• Are confident in the entire accounting process, from ongoing bookkeeping to year-end closing and tax declarations
• Have solid knowledge of accounting and taxation for both sole proprietorships and limited liability companies

The role also involves an advisory function where you support clients with their financial questions and contribute to developing their businesses. You have an eye for quality and ensure that deliverables meet high standards.

Therefore, we also look for you to:

• Enjoy an advisory role with close client contact
• Have the ability to review and quality-assure accounting work
• Be business-minded and comfortable preparing quotes and discussing assignments with clients

You are engaged, responsible, and eager to contribute to the continued development of the business.
