Emmaboda Energi is a local company owned by the residents of Emmaboda Municipality. We are 33 employees working together to enable positive societal development. We create public benefit on business terms and generate a turnover of approximately 140 million SEK by producing and delivering water, electricity, heating, and fiber optics. We also handle waste and sewage.

Our work impacts the lives of everyone in the municipality, and this places high demands on us to offer secure and reliable high-quality services. Emmaboda Energi's mission is strongly linked to environmental issues, and we have been ISO 14001 certified since 2001, meaning we make decisions and act with a focus on the environment both in the short and long term across all areas of the company.

About the role

In this role, you will support our five business areas to transform messages into clear and relevant communication. As a communicator at Emmaboda Energi, you will work broadly with both strategic and operational communication. You will plan and produce content for our channels. This can range from brochures, updating the website, social media, customer letters, and advertisements. You will also work with proofreading and quality assurance of texts.

You also play a key role in ensuring that our communication is consistent and follows both our communication strategy and graphic profile. To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, have a collaborative spirit, and be good at meeting deadlines. The role also includes assisting our customer service when needed.

Your responsibilities

• Plan, create, and follow up on content in our channels
• Develop and improve digital communication channels
• Responsible for and updating content on our website
• Ensure consistent and clear brand communication
• Produce texts and graphic material
• Continuously work to keep existing information material updated with new guidelines and legislative changes
• Work on communication initiatives in project form

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a good sense for communication and thrive in a creative role where you get to vary between text, image, and film. You are accustomed to adapting messages to different target groups and creating engaging content. You are flexible and have an easy time adjusting when conditions change. As a person, you are driven and meticulous. You have a goal-oriented way of working and an eye for detail.

Requirements and merits

We believe you have:

• Relevant education in communication
• A few years of experience in communication work
• Experience working with Adobe and MS Office
• Good ability to plan, structure, and drive your work forward
• Experience with accessibility-adapted content

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of WCAG, the DOS Act, and how accessibility requirements are applied in practice
• Experience in communication work within the public sector
• Good knowledge of Sitevision

Requirement: B-driver's license
