Accountant at Elajo Group

Elajo Group is an established group with four future-oriented subsidiaries: Elajo El & Energiteknik, driving development within electricity, security, energy, and sustainable technology solutions; Livoo AB within innovative foodtech; Fårbo VVS, our newest addition within plumbing, HVAC, and climate; and Elajo Mekanik – a world-class industrial company.

We are now looking for an Accountant who wants to work broadly in one or more of our companies and help shape our future finance function. This means a finance function that is proactive, digital, and close to the business – where accounting, analysis, and smart processes contribute to control, development, and better decision-making. About the Role

As an Accountant at Elajo Group, you will have a central role with responsibility for accounting and financial administration. The position is located at the group's headquarters in Oskarshamn, where approximately 20 employees work as business support for the group's various business areas.

You will become part of the group's finance function, where your role will combine operational accounting work with collaboration, development, and support to the businesses.

Experience with the business system Pyramid or Entré is meritorious, and in that case, there is also an opportunity to take an expanded role as a system expert, where you will be an important support in system matters, improvement work, and further development. Furthermore, we consider it meritorious if you have experience in international trade, as our company Livoo is an international company experiencing strong growth.

In addition to accounting work, the role will also contribute to and participate in the development of common processes.

Your Responsibilities

Examples of tasks in the role include:

  • Ongoing bookkeeping, much of which is automated
  • Handling and reconciliation of supplier and customer ledgers
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet and bank accounts
  • VAT and tax declarations
  • Responsibility for monthly and annual closing, as well as annual reports, together with the Controller
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Invoicing and follow-up together with project and business managers
  • Documentation and development of financial routines and working methods
  • Support to the business in financial and administrative matters

For those with Entré or Pyramid experience, the role may also include:

  • System responsibility and support related to the business system
  • Testing, improvement work, and further development of system support
  • Collaboration with external system suppliers and internal users

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education in economics/accounting or equivalent experience
  • A few years of experience in qualified accounting work
  • Good system proficiency
  • Good knowledge of Excel with an interest in learning more
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial flows

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, meticulous, flexible in your tasks, and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy constantly developing your competence and thrive with change.
