As part of our operations, Folkuniversitetet, among many other things, carries out several different initiatives on behalf of the Swedish Public Employment Service, one of which is "Rusta och Matcha". The purpose of this initiative is to help job seekers move on to employment or further regular studies. We are now looking for a person who is ready to work with this assignment in Kalmar.
In the role of Job Coach, you are responsible for helping our participants find a job, or alternatively helping the job seeker move on to regular studies. The work involves a very strong focus on the surrounding labor market, and the main part of your time will be spent contacting employers, matching your participants with vacant positions, establishing employer networks, and selling your participants' competencies.

- Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).
- Work experience: At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time work may also be approved if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.
Option 2
- Education: At least one (1) year of full-time post-secondary studies with at least a passing grade.

- Career guidance.
Part-time work may also be approved if the total working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.
Responsibilities
- Support and motivate the target group to become self-sufficient through work or studies.
- Work coaching with individuals and groups; you must therefore have a good ability to adapt your approach and interventions based on the individual's or group's needs.
- Create job plans, plan and follow up on interventions for the individual.
- Collaborate with internal and external actors. You will work with external actors such as employers in various industries and authorities such as district administrations, employment services, and Job Centers, which is why good collaboration skills are essential.
- Document your work well according to current contractual rules. Good knowledge of and experience working primarily in Word, but also Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
Our expectations of you
We want you, as a Job Coach applicant, to have a very clear outward-facing profile. You should enjoy contacting employers, using the phone as a work tool, presenting the competencies your participants have to offer, and striving to solve each assignment quickly and effectively to ensure the individual you work with gets a job.
As a person, you are communicative, solution-focused, and motivated by achieving results in your work. It is an advantage if you already today have good knowledge of the local and regional labor market in the area and good contacts with employers in various industries.
