Job Description

Do you want to help develop future care by working with procurement, contracts, and material supply? We are now looking for a Business Developer who wants to contribute to ensuring that the Care Administration has efficient, sustainable, and business-adapted solutions for purchasing and material supply.

The Care Administration has a growing need to work more cohesively with procurements and contracts. The focus is not solely on products and prices, but on creating holistic solutions that support the operations' needs for ordering processes, logistics, accessibility, and follow-up. The role has a central function in ensuring that procurements are carried out based on the operations' needs and that contracts are translated into functioning working methods in everyday life.

As a Business Developer for Procurement and Contracts, you have a key role in the development of the Care Administration's material supply. You work closely with the operations, the municipality's procurement unit, process leaders, and other specialists to create the greatest possible value for the Care Administration's core operations. The role involves both strategic, tactical, and operational work from needs analysis and procurement documentation to implementation, follow-up, and improvement.

As a Business Developer, you will:

  • Analyze and define the operations' needs within material supply, purchasing, and logistics
  • Participate in and support procurement work together with the municipality's procurement unit
  • Hold together and drive procurement work designed based on the operation's needs, quality, and total cost
  • Ensure efficient ordering processes and good accessibility to procured products
  • Be responsible for the implementation of procured products and contracts in the operations
  • Ensure that products and services are available in the e-commerce system Proceedo
  • Collaborate with process leaders for material supply and other key functions
  • Follow up on contract compliance, purchasing patterns, and working methods related to acquisition
  • Drive improvement initiatives that strengthen quality, resource efficiency, and sustainability within material supply
  • Contribute to developing the administration's working methods within procurement, contracts, and material supply processes.

The role means that you work close to the operations and contribute to creating long-term sustainable working methods where the greatest possible operational benefit is at the center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to contribute to development and change in a complex organization and who have a strong interest in procurement, business development, and process improvement.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

  • Have relevant higher education in areas such as logistics, purchasing, public administration, economics, business development, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
  • Have experience in procurement, contract management, purchasing processes, or material supply
  • Have a good understanding of how operational needs can be translated into requirements, processes, and working methods
  • Have experience in driving development and change work
  • Have good analytical skills and can see connections between operations, economics, and processes
  • Work in a structured and methodical way with a focus on results and operational benefit
  • Have a good ability to collaborate and create trusting relationships
  • Express yourself well in speech and writing
  • Have a holistic perspective and the ability to switch between strategic, tactical, and operational issues.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in public procurement (LOU)
  • Experience in e-commerce systems, such as Proceedo
  • Experience in logistics, material supply, or supply chains
  • Experience in process-oriented working methods and improvement methodology.
