Do you want to help shape a modern communications function where digitalization, democracy, and service to citizens are in focus? Hultsfred Municipality is now looking for a Communications Strategist with strong digital drive who wants to develop our websites, intranets, and working methods to reach out better – both internally and externally.

About the Job
In the role of Communications Strategist, you have overall responsibility for developing and ensuring the quality of the municipality's digital communications. You work both strategically and operationally. As a Communications Strategist, you will, among other things, work with:
- Leading and driving development projects related to web and intranet (planning, coordination, follow-up).
- Ensuring quality in digital channels based on accessibility, plain language, brand, and user-friendliness (incl. GDPR/WCAG where relevant).
- Creating communication plans, concepts, and campaigns in larger development initiatives.
- Working data-driven: following up, measuring, and analyzing the effect in digital channels and turning insights into improvements.
- Supporting operations and companies with advice and production (texts, publishing, simpler production).
- Designing informational materials such as advertisements, texts, photos, etc.
- Procurement and purchasing within communications.
- Communication in digital channels such as web and social media.
Qualifications (Requirements)
We are looking for you who have:
- Relevant university education in communication/journalism/digital communication or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in communications work, with a clear emphasis on digital channels (web/intranet).
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in planning, implementing, and following up on communication initiatives.
Merits
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience from the public sector or another politically governed organization.
- Project management experience within web/intranet or digital change projects.
- Experience with data-driven working methods, analysis tools, and/or using AI in communications work.
- Experience with crisis communication.
