Are you ready to shape the future of public transport and contribute to a more sustainable society? We are now looking for a driven and analytical traffic planner who wants to make a real difference in people's daily lives by creating efficient and attractive travel options.

As a traffic planner, you play a key role in planning, developing, and optimizing public transport. You are responsible for designing timetables and vehicle rotations, ensuring that the right resources are in the right place at the right time. By analyzing passenger statistics and traffic data, you identify development opportunities and adapt the traffic to the needs of travelers and established guidelines. The role also involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation and economy of traffic in close collaboration with transport companies, municipalities, and other partners.

Here, you will have the opportunity to combine analysis, planning, and collaboration to create a public transport system that is efficient, sustainable, and appreciated by our passengers. This is a fixed-term assignment until September 2027 to cover parental leave for one of our employees.

About You

We would prefer that you have post-secondary education in logistics, transport, or another relevant field. Alternatively, you have corresponding experience from working life. Previous experience from traffic planning or a related industry with work within logistics is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, structured, and analytical. You have the ability to see the big picture while keeping an eye on the details. You are motivated by improving and developing, both in large and small matters, and you have a strong desire to find solutions that create value for both the business and our customers.

The position requires good computer skills as you are expected to work in several different systems. We prefer that you work comfortably with MS Office. Knowledge of the planning tool Rebus or similar planning systems is an advantage. Good geographical knowledge of Kalmar County is also considered an advantage.

You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A Class B driver's license is required for the position.
