Customer Guide at the Contact Center

Your Responsibilities

As a Customer Guide, you are part of the Contact Unit, also known as the Contact Center, where you serve as the municipality's first point of contact. We work according to the principle "the right contact leads the way in," which means we coordinate and streamline the municipality's customer reception to create accessibility and security for our residents.

You answer questions, provide guidance, and handle cases within areas such as:

  • Urban planning, land, and development
  • Schools and education
  • Care and support
  • Culture, leisure, and environment
  • Complaints and feedback

You will work in a team that values high service standards and broad competence.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education and experience in similar work.

It is an advantage if you have completed or are currently studying a course in administration, reception, or case processing. Furthermore, good proficiency in digital tools and experience working in IT-based systems are required. You must have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English, but knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in telephony, reception, and case processing.
  • Can handle social media.
  • Is meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoys customer contact.
  • Has good teamwork skills while being self-motivated and taking initiative.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can handle multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Is responsible, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is resourceful and has good problem-solving skills for unforeseen tasks.
  • Enjoys working agilely and in a team.
