About the Learning and Culture Administration

The schools in Nybro Municipality aim to provide every child and student with the best conditions for success. In Nybro Municipality, children, students, and guardians meet well-educated and engaged educators, teachers, principals, and staff who all strive to create a safe school environment with education quality in focus.

The Culture Unit aims to give residents good access to culture and strengthen cultural associations so they can conduct a broad range of cultural activities. The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, comprehensive schools, adapted comprehensive schools, after-school care, upper secondary schools, as well as municipal adult education with Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) and special education for adults.

Within the administration, there is education in glass craftsmanship through the National Glass School in Pukeberg, as well as commissioned training and higher vocational education. The Learning and Culture Administration is also responsible for libraries, music and arts schools, a cultural center with a cinema, youth clubs, and general cultural issues. The administration has over 850 employees and an annual budget of approximately 580 million SEK.

The administration is organized into business areas led by a business manager for each preschool, comprehensive school, upper secondary school, adult education, and the culture unit. The administration is led by an administrative director who is also the school director.

Here you will have a central role where you work close to the administrative leadership and operations, focusing on analysis, structure, and implementation – always with the best interests of the operations in focus.

Job Responsibilities

As a development resource, you work both operationally and strategically with our systematic quality work as well as other development and improvement processes. You will be part of a development group led by a business developer, where assignments are distributed based on competence and the needs of the operations, with the best interests of children and students in focus. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the administrative leadership, principals, and operational management groups.

An important part of the role is to ensure that the operations work in accordance with steering documents and to drive development where improvement needs are identified. In this role, you are responsible for compiling, analyzing, and presenting materials to support decisions and development. You follow up on how the operations work based on steering documents, guidelines, and policies, and identify needs for improvements.

You function as a support to principals and business managers in systematic quality work and contribute with structure, analysis, and progress in various cases and processes. The assignment also includes coordinating work and follow-up, as well as monitoring the external environment within the education sector.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have strong analytical skills and can identify patterns, causes, and needs for action. You have a good understanding of how governance and follow-up work in public operations and can translate this into practice. Work in a changing area where flexibility and adaptability are important qualities. You are a person who gets things done in a good spirit of cooperation. You drive assignments forward and to completion, while working systematically and creating clarity for others.
