Job Description and Responsibilities

Do you want to work close to the operations and take operational responsibility for the accounting in a growing company?

In the role of Accountant, you will hold a central position in the daily financial work, responsible for ensuring quality and structure in the ongoing accounting. You will work independently within the operational flow while collaborating closely with the Finance Manager, Production, Procurement, and Sales. The role also involves a clear connection to the business, where you follow projects and flows through the entire process – from order to final accounting.

Examples of Tasks

• Ongoing accounting including customer and supplier ledgers.
• Reconciliations and work with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handling VAT and taxes, as well as contact with authorities, auditors, and banks.
• Administration of customer projects in the business system, including support to sales regarding orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Follow-up of financial flows related to projects, production, and business systems.

Your Profile

You thrive in an operational role where you take responsibility for the entirety of the ongoing accounting and work close to the operations. Here, you are expected to be self-reliant, structured, and confident in your competence, while also having the ability to prioritize and drive the work forward. You are meticulous without getting stuck in details, have an analytical approach, and see the value in understanding the business behind the numbers.

The Role Requires

• Post-secondary education in economics, e.g., YH or equivalent with a focus on accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Experience with ongoing accounting including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements or parts of the annual report.
• Experience with customer and supplier ledgers and an understanding of the connection to the general ledger.
• Practical experience with VAT reporting and basic knowledge of tax regulations.
• Experience with reconciliation work and account analysis.
• Good familiarity with business systems and good skills in Excel.
• Ability to understand and work with the entire financial flow, from order to final accounting.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Experience working with deadlines in connection with monthly reporting, experience from manufacturing operations or production environments, and experience working in ERP systems such as Business Central or Monitor are considered meritorious.
