Do you want to work in an organization where the labor market perspective is central and where every effort aims to contribute to the business sector's competence supply as well as strengthening the individual's path towards work and self-sufficiency?

As a labor market caseworker within our new organization, Work and Competence, you will become an important part of a development-oriented team working together to provide people with the right support, motivation, and prerequisites to take the next step towards working life.

We are now looking for two dedicated labor market caseworkers who have a strong belief in every individual's ability to contribute.

2 positions.

Responsibilities

As an employee at the labor market unit in Hultsfred Municipality, your mission is to strengthen the opportunities for the municipality's residents to find their path towards work and self-sufficiency. You will work with job seekers of all ages, and the work with participants is primarily individual but may also involve group activities. We work from a holistic perspective and have a salutogenic approach. Based on the individual's prerequisites, we guide and strengthen individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.

The responsibilities include among other things:

  • Matching, coaching, and guidance for job seekers
  • Work with the municipal activity responsibility (KAA)
  • Management of adapted employment
  • Internship coordination within municipal operations
  • Coordination of holiday work for young people
  • Employer contacts
  • Management of youth services
  • Preventive work to counteract unemployment
  • Coordination of activity requirements

Additionally, we maintain close collaboration with the municipality's other departments regarding labor market issues, as well as with other authorities such as the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan).

Qualifications

The work requires that you are outgoing and positive, with the ability to make quick adjustments. You are flexible, engaged, and have good collaboration and communication skills. You should be trustworthy and able to establish contacts and relationships with our residents, employers, and partners.

A university education with a behavioral science focus or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is desirable. Good knowledge of the local business sector is an advantage. As the work involves some administration, you must be able to handle this.

  • Experience of working with labor market issues is considered an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
