Are you interested in driving the development of Region Kalmar County's work for residents with substance abuse, addiction, and other psychiatric diagnoses (comorbidity)? Then you should apply for this position!
You will work both strategically and operationally. Your main tasks will involve leading development work based on the Comorbidity Investigation and the national strategy "It's About Life". The work is planned and executed in close collaboration with the county's municipalities.
You will lead the work of establishing and developing common structures, working methods, and processes between the municipality and the region, as well as coordinate efforts together with municipalities to create equity and efficiency across the entire area. You will ensure that the intentions of the reform are implemented in operations, from the strategic level to practical execution, and drive analysis, improvement, and change work to create more integrated and person-centered care and support. The assignment also involves monitoring results, quality, and effects, as well as reporting to the steering group and management. You will contribute to creating a common vision and culture that promotes collaboration between the principal authorities. You are expected to monitor the external environment and disseminate knowledge about legislative changes, guidelines, and national assignments related to the reform.
The work group you will lead consists of experts from various functions within the region, and you will also work closely with the coordinator for the transition to close-to-home care and the development leader for mental health/substance abuse. The steering group for the work consists of the Planning Director, the Psychiatry Director, and the Primary Care Director.
About You
We are looking for you who are medically licensed and have a strong interest in developing care and support for the county's residents, especially those with significant and complex needs. You are motivated to change and improve the region's work with this target group. Experience in project management is an advantage.
The position requires that you are structured and accustomed to planning and driving your work independently. You should have good systemic knowledge regarding the responsibilities of the region and municipalities. You need to be able to communicate pedagogically in speech and writing and present parts of your work to groups. You must also be able to collaborate, demonstrate good cooperative skills, and have the desire to develop operations with the resident's best interest as the focus.
