About the role

As a qualified investigator with us, you will both lead and participate in the work with government assignments, investigations, and consultations, as well as produce well-founded materials that can serve as a basis for political decisions. You work in cross-professional teams with investigators, solution architects, developers, communicators, and lawyers. The team carries out the investigations all the way from idea and study design to solution proposals, as well as report writing and communication. In cases where the investigation work is to lead to the development of a digital solution, we strive to work integrated and agile from early hypotheses to implementation. In the assignments, you often collaborate with other actors and users to ensure utility and usability. Tasks and questions may vary, and you often work against a deadline.

In addition, you also support other employees in investigation methodology, report writing, and quality assurance. You also participate in the agency's method and business development.

Your tasks include:

  • leading, planning, and conducting extensive investigations over a longer period
  • conducting data collection and performing analyses
  • drafting reports and other written materials
  • handling comments and revisions
  • presenting results and reports orally
  • collaborating with external parties and representing the agency in external contexts.

You work at the Investigation Unit where we work with investigation and development assignments, environmental scanning, and collaboration. The unit consists of investigators, project leaders, and collaboration coordinators.

We belong to the Health, Care, and Social Care Department where the focus is to contribute to the development of infrastructure and services within healthcare, dental care, and social care.

About you

You are solution-oriented and identify areas that need development and find ways forward even when you lack deep expertise in the area. Problem-solving analytical ability is a strength of yours - you analyze and break down problems into their components and solve complex problems. You are objective and clear in your communication, both orally and in writing, and are good at getting your message across in text and presentations.

We also see that you can create engagement, build relationships, and lead and motivate others in joint assignments.

We are looking for you who have:

  • an academic degree (at least 180 hp or 120 p according to the old system) as a social worker, social scientist, or another direction that the employer considers relevant
  • several years of experience in development or investigation work within social care
  • experience of qualified investigation work, i.e., investigation work whose results are to form a basis for decisions by the government or an authority, e.g., state investigations, materials for decisions on a major change in a municipality/region or authority reports to the government
  • current experience of leading teams in development or investigation work
  • good ability to formulate complex relationships in a simple and pedagogical way, both in writing and orally.

It is meritorious for the position if you have:

  • experience of follow-up and evaluation of social care work
  • experience of digitalization work
  • experience of working at the interface between state and municipality or at the interface between healthcare and social care.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The location of employment is Stockholm or Kalmar. The work may involve business travel, primarily between the two locations.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Therefore, we may need to conduct a security check with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For some tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
