Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is a big task. Contributing to societal development is even bigger. With us, you get to do both, with a technical twist. We are now looking for an IT Developer for our staff function and IT department. At Svevia, we combine the small company's sense of community and team spirit with the stability of a large corporation. Here you have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist – with engagement, collaboration, and responsibility.

The position is located at one of Svevia's many offices around the country, with flexibility for remote work.

BI Developer

As a BI Developer, you will work on developing Power BI and data modeling in Svevia's data platform to meet the business's needs. You will work closely with other developers involved in integration and data warehouse development, as well as in close collaboration with architects, product managers, and the business units to create sustainable and scalable solutions.

At our company, you will work in a modern data platform based on Snowflake, Power BI, Azure, and Git-based development processes. Svevia is currently undergoing a digital transformation, and as a data warehouse developer, you will play a significant role by making data accessible, ensuring quality, and managing the foundations for data-driven decisions for our colleagues.

You will also, together with other data warehouse developers, be responsible for ensuring stable operations through monitoring, alarm management, and continuous improvement of the data platform, Power BI reports, and other components.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role of IT Developer, you have a few years of experience in similar roles such as BI Developer, Data Warehouse Developer, or Data Engineer.

You are also fully comfortable working with Snowflake (or equivalent), DAX, SQL, and Power BI, and are familiar with Git and version control. You also have fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written. All of the above are requirements for the role.

If you also have experience in AI, integration development, app development, and API Management, this is considered an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and/or Azure Functions.

Part of something bigger

With us, you contribute to a larger whole. We plow roads for families heading to the mountains. We ensure that commercial goods transports reach their destinations and keep streets, squares, and parks clean and tidy. Additionally, we protect lives on the road through our offerings in traffic safety equipment.

Why Svevia?

Based on Svevia's strategies, goals, and values, you get the prerequisites needed to make a difference and contribute to the company's development. Decision-making paths are short, it is easy to influence and have your voice heard. And at our company, leadership is in focus, which means you continuously get the opportunity to develop in your role.

We strive to be a workplace for everyone. We create success as a team. This is how we do business and generate results. This is how we make cities and the country function. Do you want to share the road with us?

Application and information

You apply easily by sending your CV and answering a few selection questions. Our recruitment process is based on a competency-based approach, which is a prerequisite for recruiting in a quality-assured, inclusive, and unbiased manner. Therefore, we do not want a cover letter.
