We are currently looking for an Information Security and IT Security Coordinator for one of our clients.

Assignment Description

Our client is seeking a consultant who, during a transition period, can support the organization with information security, IT security, and data protection.

The assignment involves contributing to maintaining and further developing the ongoing security work within the organization. The consultant will act as a support to operations, management, and IT functions in security-related matters, as well as coordinate activities within risk management, incident management, follow-up, and reporting.

The role is primarily tactical and coordinating. The assignment does not involve formal operational responsibility or the mandate to make strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Security Work and Coordination

As a consultant, you will:

• Coordinate and follow up on ongoing work within information security and IT security.
• Act as a support to operations, management, and the IT function in security-related questions.
• Contribute to keeping procedures, guidelines, and working methods current and compliant.
• Participate in the planning and prioritization of security-related activities.

Risk Management

As a consultant, you will:

• Coordinate and support the implementation of risk analyses.
• Follow up on identified risks and decided measures.
• Contribute to documenting and reporting the risk profile and measure status.

Incident Management

As a consultant, you will:

• Coordinate the handling and follow-up of information security incidents.
• Support operations in the event of personal data incidents and other security incidents.
• Compile lessons learned from incidents and propose improvement measures.

Data Protection and Compliance

As a consultant, you will:

• Provide support in matters concerning GDPR and personal data handling.
• Participate in assessments of risks related to personal data processing.
• Contribute to the follow-up of the organization's work with information security and data protection.

Follow-up and Reporting

The consultant will:

• Prepare decision support materials, summaries, and reports for management and steering groups.
• Follow up on key figures, incidents, and risks.
• Contribute to the planning and follow-up of security-related activities.

Requirements

Must-haves (5–8 years of experience):

• At least five (5) years of documented experience in information security and/or IT security.
• Experience in risk management and security-related improvement work.
• Experience in handling or coordinating security incidents.
• Good knowledge of information security according to established frameworks and standards, e.g., ISO/IEC 27001.
• Good knowledge of GDPR and personal data handling.
• Good ability to communicate clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience from the public sector.
• Experience working in Microsoft 365 environments.
• Certification in information security, e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience working with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

Location: Stockholm (Hornsgatan) with the possibility of remote work by agreement.

Scope: Full-time (it may be relevant to start with a reduced scope initially if it allows you, as a consultant, to start early on August 10th).

It is important that you, as a consultant, can start the assignment on August 10th, even if not full-time initially.
